We exist to make a meaningful difference - not just provide support.
Relationships That Transform Lives
Through genuine relationships, consistent care, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, we create environments where people feel safe, supported, and empowered.
A considered and clinically informed approach to disability support
At GexaCare, our approach is grounded in evidence-based practice and hands-on experience supporting people with complex needs.
We use positive behaviour support and trauma-informed care to improve quality of life by creating capable environments — spaces where people can meet their needs safely, maintain dignity, and reduce reliance on restrictive practices. The goal is practical, everyday stability, not short-term control.
Each support plan is developed in collaboration with behaviour support practitioners, allied health professionals, and families, ensuring supports are relevant, realistic, and responsive as needs change.
All support is delivered in line with the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct, with a strong focus on safety, accountability, and respect.
This is skilled support, delivered with purpose — not guesswork, not shortcuts.

Our Approach to Disability Support
At GexaCare, our approach is built on structure, consistency, and genuine human connection. We support people with complex behavioural, emotional, and social needs through care that is calm, respectful, and deeply personal – not just clinical or one-size-fits-all.
We combine Positive Behaviour Support with trauma-informed practice to create environments that feel safe, predictable, and supportive. Our focus isn’t just on behaviour, it’s on understanding the person behind it and responding with dignity and care.
Our homes are designed to be exactly that – homes. With 24-hour support, professional cleaning, reliable transport, and everyday comforts included, we provide stable environments where people can settle, grow and belong.
We reduce restrictive practices by addressing root causes early, maintaining consistent skilled staff, and embedding behaviour support strategies into everyday routines. Through close collaboration with behaviour support practitioners, structured engagement, predictable environments, and ongoing review, we replace restrictive responses with proactive, person-centred support wherever possible.
And because our commitment goes beyond service delivery, we reinvest 10% of our profits back into our participants — supporting daily life, meaningful activities, and real opportunity.
We don’t just provide support.
We build stability, dignity, and futures.
Why Choose GexaCare
Choosing the right Disability Support provider can make all the difference. At GexaCare, we focus on delivering structured, compassionate, and consistent care that leads to genuine progress.
Experienced
& trusted
With 18 years of combined experience across child protection, justice, and disability services, our team understands complex presentations, risk, and the realities families face. We apply a calm, informed approach to crisis response, communication, and daily support, ensuring care is consistent and accountable. Our Authorised Program Officers (APO) prioritise safeguarding participants’ rights and work to reduce and, where possible, eliminate restrictive practices to support choice and control.
Therapeutic & trauma-informed Care
Our practice is grounded in Positive Behaviour Support and trauma-informed care, supporting participants to feel safe, understood, and emotionally regulated. We focus on identifying triggers, maintaining factors, and unmet needs underlying behaviour, and tailor supports to promote long-term stability, confidence, and meaningful progress. Support delivery follows a structured 12-week onboarding and transition process, with care progressively transferred from the onboarding phase to the permanent support team to ensure continuity and stability.
Comfortable, well-managed homes
A well-organised, clean home isn’t just nice to look at - research shows it reduces stress, improves focus and supports better daily routines. We invest in a dedicated weekly cleaner rather than leaving cleaning to support workers. Their time stays focused where it matters most: supporting each participant’s goals and wellbeing.
Collaborative
support planning
We work in genuine partnership with families, behaviour support practitioners, and allied health professionals to deliver practical, coordinated, and person-centred supports. This ensures shared goals and consistent, structured care that adapts as needs evolve. Comprehensive data collection for reporting and evidence is a common challenge and can impact reasonable and necessary NDIS outcomes. Our systems support accurate data collection and provide regular, meaningful updates to the broader team.
Experienced With Child Protection Backgrounds
Our leadership team brings strong frontline experience from the child protection sector, including supporting young people with complex behaviours shaped by years of instability, placement changes and inconsistent care. This background means we’re comfortable working with complexity — we understand the patterns, the triggers, and the support approaches that actually help. We respond with calm structure, clear boundaries and genuine care, creating the stability and trust these young adults need to move forward with confidence and improved family relationships.
Giving back to participants
We reinvest 10% of our profits directly into participants, funding activities, opportunities, and quality-of-life initiatives that might otherwise be out of reach. Whether it’s covering outings, contributing to essential items, or supporting personal goals, this commitment strengthens wellbeing and helps participants experience more of the life they deserve.
